Taking into account the importance of this award and the number of participants in the extra virgin olive oil category; specifically, 60 companies participated, some of them highly prestigious, originating from Italy, Greece, Morocco, Tunisia, and Spain. The jury was composed of Michelin Guide chefs from Paris, and the product tasting was “blind.”
